Landbar

Landbar is a public artist studio situated between two trails on a remote site. Artists in residence at Landbar can take advantage of kinetic energy tiles to power installations which follow paths that weaves through the building’s length and over its roof. Landbar is the opposite of a building with a landscape: it does not deal with issues of landscape outside of the building envelope, but instead creates a new landscape within, creating a campus of smaller rooms with a winding pathway that runs between, around, and under various rooms belonging to the artist studio.
